Lodha Group Build World's Tallest Apartment in Mumbai, India

World's tallest residential tower will be built in Mumbai, India. Lodha Group is headquartered in Mumbai will build 117-story skyscrapers in the area of 17 acres (68 796 square meters) in Lower Parel in the heart of the city. Height reaches 442 meters so that it will beat the highest in the Australian residential building (323 meters). In this tower will be built also 276 luxury apartments.

This building will become an icon and a symbol for Mumbai Indians in the stage of global economy and culture, said in a statement issued by Lodha Group.

Lodha Group appointed architects Pei Cobb Freed and Partners with offices in New York, United States, to design the world's tallest residential tower was. Architect's office was already designing the Louvre Pyramid in Paris, the Bank of China Tower in Hong Kong, and the John Hancock Tower in Boston, United States.

Between the two-acre (8 093 m2) and a three acre (12 140 m2) will be reserved as open space. Construction of this building is expected to begin within the next few months and will be completed in 2014.

"Through partnerships with architects, designers, and engineers globally, we aim to bring Mumbai to a landmark that can give an illustration of the spirit always fly to Mumbai for higher ground through hard work and strong desire," said Abhisheck Lodha, director of Lodha.

Residential property prices in India continue to increase, especially upscale apartment in great demand. The company is negotiating with foreign and local financial arranger for the fund this project.

The project also includes building luxury villas with private pool, high-end shopping centers and office buildings. Some buyers already booked a place before the official launch scheduled for the end of the month was held this June.
